This page will provide discussion and information about the Mystic Ortal School property and other events of interest related to the Town Council's (TC) efforts to influence the future land uses in the town. At the moment, despite overwhelming public support for Jeff Pritchard as the head of the Planning and Zoning Commission, the TC is railroading him off the commission by refusing to consider his reappointment. Why this is important is the development of the Plan of Conservation and Development document in 2025. This document classifies all the property in the town for the type of development that is allowed. Mr. Protchard is exactly the right person to lead the production of this document; however he is seen as an impediment to the desires of some of the TC for development no matter the cost to the neighborhoods it might be placed in.
